We are seeking a highly-qualified Associate Patent Attorney to join our team and support the firm’s expanding workload.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related experience in software, such as machine learning.
  • 0 3 years of experience in patent prosecution and admission to practice before the USPTO.
  • Strong academic record with proven analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and a commitment to professional excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and file patent applications with the USPTO.
  • Respond to office actions and other USPTO correspondence.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their inventions and provide strategic recommendations regarding patent protection.
  • Contribute to patent litigation matters and support related proceedings.
  • Assist with trademark and copyright matters as part of the firm’s broader intellectual property practice.

  • Competitive base salary: $140,000 – $170,000, depending on experience, education, and skills, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
