Role Summary
As an Associate SEO Manager, you’ll support clients’ organic search growth by executing technical, on-page, and content-driven SEO strategies. You’ll bring a strong foundation in SEO best practices with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams.
This role is ideal for someone with solid SEO basics and content background who wants to sharpen technical skills, contribute to authority growth, and gain experience working with large or complex sites. You’ll be self-sufficient in day-to-day work while open to coaching and mentorship to advance into full SEO strategy ownership.

Key Responsibilities
-
Technical SEO
: Conduct site audits, crawl analysis, structured data checks, indexation reviews, and page speed analysis. Identify and implement technical improvements, including on large or complex sites.

On-Page & Content Optimization
: Perform keyword research, map terms to content, and optimize existing pages. Create briefs and collaborate with writers to ensure content is SEO-driven, persona-focused, and on-brand.

Link Building & Authority Growth
: Apply best practices for link earning and authority-building strategies to strengthen domain performance.

Analytics & Reporting
: Use GA4 and Google Search Console to monitor KPIs, track performance, explain results, and identify opportunities for growth.

SEO Tools
: Utilize Screaming Frog and SEMrush for audits, tracking, and reporting (experience with Looker Studio is a plus, though not required).

Cross-Channel Collaboration
: Work with marketing strategists, paid media, CRO, and content marketing teams to ensure SEO recommendations align with and enhance broader strategies.

Proactive Learning
: Stay current on algorithm updates and best practices; apply learnings across client accounts.

Independent Execution
: Manage tasks and priorities without micromanagement while remaining open to feedback and guidance.
Key Responsibilities

Successful resolution of technical SEO issues (crawl errors, speed improvements, structured data, etc.)

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on SEO or digital marketing experience (agency preferred)

Familiarity with technical SEO (crawlability, structured data, site speed, indexation)

Experience with keyword research, content mapping, and on-page optimization

Understanding of link earning and authority-building strategies

Proficiency in Google Search Console and GA4; comfort with SEO tools like Screaming Frog and SEMrush preferred

Strong writing/editing or content marketing background is a plus

Analytical mindset with the ability to explain performance and opportunities clearly

Awareness of how SEO interacts with CRO, paid media, and content marketing
