Associate Transmission Operations

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Managing Roll Out and Operations of DWDM ASON and SDH Equipment and SLA Assurance.
• Provide technical support for Network faults and rectification of Optical Fiber Network with Fiber Vendor.
• Good Knowledge of Optical Link budgeting and operating expertise of relevant tools.
• Ensure Bi-Monthly site PMs of designated sites.
• Managing 24x7 onsite support for any unforeseen hardware failure/Malfunctioning of Node Equipment.
• Fiber Splicing, Fiber laying, HOTO and maintenance of systems.
• Manage Network Configurations, troubleshooting, link budgeting and optimization.
• Understanding of OSP Networks and ISP deployment standards.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Good Communication and Analytical skills.
• Handle Workload efficiently and work independently as well as in team.
• Strong Knowledge of Optical Fiber Cable Systems and Equipment Product Line.
• Network Configuration Experience would be a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in telecom operations, fiber, or related domains.
• Hands on Experience electrical & optical cables and knows associated installation standards and best practices
