Overview

A leading entertainment development company in Saudi Arabia is embarking on an ambitious program to build 22 state of the art entertainment destinations, including two major theme parks, over the next seven years. These venues will feature world class attractions and experiences designed to elevate guest entertainment across the Kingdom. The organization's procurement function is actively supporting multiple projects across the portfolio and is now seeking experienced consultants to provide short term support and strengthen the team's capacity across key initiatives.

This role provides an opportunity to strengthen vendor management and supplier engagement practices within a growing organization. As part of the Supply Chain Management team, the Associate will help build a reliable vendor network that supports operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency. The position is ideal for a proactive professional passionate about process improvement, stakeholder coordination, and data accuracy.

The Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain Excellence, the Associate will support all aspects of vendor lifecycle management-from sourcing and registration to qualification, evaluation, and performance tracking. The successful candidate will ensure that vendor master data remains accurate, complete, and compliant while facilitating seamless supplier collaboration through SAP Ariba and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify and register new vendors while maintaining current supplier databases.
• Manage vendor qualification, evaluation, and development activities in alignment with organizational policies.
• Oversee vendor master data management, ensuring information accuracy, cleansing, and timely updates.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess vendor performance and address underperformance through corrective actions.
• Develop regular reports and dashboards on vendor performance, sourcing activity, and adoption of digital platforms.
• Support the rollout and maintenance of SAP Business Network for suppliers, ensuring smooth onboarding and engagement.
• Create and maintain supplier facing documentation, FAQs, and process guidance based on SAP standards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure end to end vendor management process compliance.
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and supplier engagement enhancements.
• Ensure all vendor management operations follow relevant policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, or vendor management.
• Proficiency in SAP and Ariba systems, with familiarity in supplier master data management.
• Strong understanding of procurement systems, vendor qualification, and compliance processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.

Nice to Have

• Certification in Supplier Relationship Management or equivalent.
• Experience with supplier network tools and process automation (e.g., chatbots, reporting dashboards).
• Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and performance metrics.
