About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Associate/Manager – Legal to join our growing team. This role will involve providing legal guidance, managing contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance across all aspects of business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advisory to senior management and regional offices.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents including NDAs, Service Agreements, SLAs, and IP Licensing agreements.
• Assist with the incorporation and operational support of Joint Ventures (JVs).
• Maintain a legal repository and documentation for vendor onboarding processes.
• Oversee statutory books, compliance calendars, and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage KYC compliance with banks and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on labor laws and guide teams accordingly.
• Develop and review internal governance frameworks, compliance protocols, and cross-departmental company policies.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Strong command over contract law and negotiation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, analytical, and confident in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• A team player committed to the department and company’s overall success.

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in an in-house legal role.
• Must hold an LLB degree from an accredited institution.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an LLM qualification.
