Association Property Accounting Manager

The Association Property Accounting Manager position at Interlaced Property Solutions is a role responsible for supporting the Director of Finance and the accounting department as a whole in creating accurate and timely financial records for our organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and ensuring smooth operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial records of our Associations, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage a team and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a valued member of our team, the position will be engaged in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, with key responsibilities including:

Posting monthly customer invoices promptly and with precision.

Recording customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

Providing reports on the financial status of the Associations to the Director of Finance.

Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in customer accounts based on contract information.

Ensuring meticulous documentation and organization of financial records.

Conducting research on customer payments and assisting in collections when necessary.

Work Environment

This role is primarily based in a clerical, office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

While the position is largely sedentary, filing duties may occasionally require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and the ability to bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Travel

This position does not require any travel.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Three years of experience in community property management or similar preffered.
  • Accounting Degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Florida CAM license experience a plus.
  • Valid FL Driver’s license.
  • Ability to manage emergency situations promptly.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:

A degree in accounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
