Job Description:
Job Profile:
Leading A2R & Costing for the manufacturing organization.

Responsible for systems of collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information by establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Contributes to effective accounting management in a compliance with regulatory provisions and internal guidelines.
Role & Responsibilities: (Key accountability areas)
Period End Closing and Reporting:
  • Working in collaboration with BPO/global Finance team for Period end closing and reporting (IFRS).
  • Ensure adherence to Internal policies and control systems.
  • Preparation of local statutory reporting (IGAAP) and managing statutory audits.
  • Perform periodic analytical review and facilitate any other reporting requirement.
Taxation:
  • Direct Taxes/ Indirect Taxes
  • Coordinate with External Consultant to ensure compliance with direct & indirect taxes.
Banking:
  • Manage banking relationships and ensuring AD compliances.
  • Liaise with banks for various initiatives, improvements and troubleshooting.
  • Projects and improvements:
  • Support implementation of corporate Finance programs, processes and initiatives.
  • Contribute to performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Safety:
  • Identification & reporting of Unsafe conditions
  • Conduct Safety Gemba
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Cost Accountant (CMA)
Experience/ Exposure
  • 5-6 years’ post-qualification experience of Accounting and Costing in a manufacturing organization
  • Basic knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws, regulation and compliances
  • Demonstrated understanding of the financial and accounting principles and processes (IFRS and iGAAP)
  • Proficiency in handling large data and applications
