Asst. Manager Purchase

Position: Assistant Manager - Purchase

Diploma / B.E. Graduate with 8–10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in sheet metal fabrication, machining, or general engineering industries.

General Requirements:

• Strong understanding of filter press components: plates, frames, hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and filter cloths.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of industrial raw materials: steel, polymers, rubber, gaskets, etc.
• Awareness of fabrication, machining, and welding processes.
• Strong negotiation skills to ensure the best pricing without compromising quality.
• Experience in vendor development, sourcing reliable suppliers, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Inventory coordination in collaboration with stores, production, and planning departments.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or other industry-specific platforms.
• Understanding of logistics, including freight, customs (for imports), and transportation.
• Good communication skills, team coordination, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material planning based on production schedules.
• Raising and managing Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring timely follow-up for delivery.
• Coordinating with the QA/QC department to ensure material quality.
• Identifying and developing alternative sources for critical items.

Salary: As per industry standards. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.

Preferred Candidate: Male candidate who is currently idle or available to join immediately.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
