Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our defense-oriented law firm in Edwardsville, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse litigation cases and gain hands-on courtroom experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to contribute to high-stakes legal matters across Illinois and Missouri.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in defense litigation cases, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and toxic tort.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other necessary documents.

• Participate in depositions, trials, and hearings within state and federal courts.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for insurance disputes and motor vehicle accident cases.

• Evaluate case details and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

• Manage discovery processes, including reviewing and analyzing evidence.

• Stay updated on legal developments to ensure effective representation.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and meticulous conduct.

• Work proactively to uphold the firm’s high standards of legal service.

• Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.

• Active law license in both Illinois and Missouri.
• Minimum of one year of experience in civil litigation or defense litigation.

• Dedication to growth and collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
