Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap schedules for children of different developmental stages
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate teaching to promote development and curiosity
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping duties related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with families or specialists when necessary
• Administer basic first aid when needed and follow safety protocols diligently to handle emergencies effectively

Experience

• Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-aged kids
• Prior nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating reliability, patience, and nurturing skills
• Familiarity with childcare best practices such as child safety protocols, meal preparation for children, and developmental activities
• Knowledge of first aid procedures specific to infants and young children
• Experience working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus
• Ability to manage household tasks related to childcare efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents to ensure expectations are met

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.57 - $29.58 per hour
