Authority Liaison Architects (Junior & Senior)

We are seeking skilled Authority Liaison Architects to lead approvals and regulatory processes across Dubai and the wider UAE. This role carries Architect of Record (AOR) responsibilities, ensuring projects comply with regulations, secure the necessary permits, and progress smoothly. You will act as the key link between design/engineering teams and regulatory authorities, making sure submissions are accurate, timely, and strategically managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support design approvals and authority submissions across all project stages
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality, DDA, DEWA, DCD, Trakhees, and other regulatory bodies
• Prepare, review, and submit authority drawings, technical documents, and applications
• Track approval timelines and proactively follow up to ensure smooth progress
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities
• Advise project teams on authority requirements, compliance, and potential risks

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and approval processes
• Proven ability to manage authority submissions, approvals, and NOCs
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Charismatic communicator with confidence in engaging authorities and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive problem solver

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Architecture (Engineering background is a plus)
• 1–15 years of experience in authority liaison / AOR roles (flexible depending on seniority)
• Track record of securing approvals in Dubai and wider UAE
• Accreditation with DM / DDA / Trakhees / DCD is an advantage
• Experience in educational or large-scale commercial projects is desirable
