Authority Officer Representative (AOR)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Authority Officer Representative (AOR) to join our dynamic team. The AOR will play a key role in managing all aspects of authority coordination, ensuring timely submission and approval of project documents in compliance with local codes and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

· NOC Management & Follow-Up:
Coordinate with all relevant authorities (DM, RTA, Etisalat, DEWA, etc.) to obtain necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and ensure timely approvals through regular follow-up.

· DM Portal Communication & Tracking:
Manage all communications and submissions via the DM portal. Maintain and update tracking systems to monitor approval progress.

· Status Tracker Updates:
Regularly update the authority submission tracker and share progress reports with relevant project stakeholders.

· Codes & Regulations Compliance Review:
Review and validate submission documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and authority regulations. Advise design teams on necessary adjustments.

· Liaison with Design Teams:
Provide support and guidance to design teams to ensure designs meet authority requirements from the outset.

· RFI & Portal Action Management:
Handle all Requests for Information (RFIs) and actions received through authority portals, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.

· DM Meetings Coordination:
Arrange, attend, and represent the project in Dubai Municipality meetings, addressing queries and ensuring required documents are submitted.

· Client Meetings Participation:
Attend client meetings as needed to provide updates on authority approvals and highlight any compliance-related concerns.

· Internal Meetings Participation:
Join internal project meetings to report on authority-related updates and alert the team to any potential regulatory impacts.

Personal Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

· Proven experience in authority liaison or similar role within the UAE (Dubai & Abu Dhabi).

· Strong knowledge of DM, RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, and other relevant authority procedures.

· Familiarity with Dubai and Abu Dhabi Municipality portals and online authority submission platforms.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple submissions simultaneously.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
