Auto Electrician (Automobile Electrician)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Electrician with hands-on experience in hybrid vehicles, key programming, advanced diagnostics, and vehicle computer systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic components of a wide range of modern vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in both conventional and hybrid vehicles.
• Perform ECU programming, key programming, and immobilizer system repairs.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues in vehicle electrical and computer systems.
• Repair and replace electrical components such as sensors, control modules, wiring harnesses, alternators, batteries, and lighting systems.
• Install and configure aftermarket systems such as alarms, tracking systems, and infotainment units.
• Calibrate electronic systems and perform software updates on vehicle control units.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive inspections of vehicle electrical systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed service records and repair logs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OEM software and online programming portals.
• Familiarity with electric vehicle (EV) systems and high-voltage safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
