Auto Title Services Specialist I

OBJECTIVE
Assist with processing of auto title documentation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of title-related records. Be a liaison with members, internal departments, dealerships, and state agencies to facilitate the timely and efficient processing of vehicle titles, liens, and related paperwork.
WORKING HOURS: Monday–Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Hybrid with one day a week in the office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 year of experience in auto title processing, or a related role in the financial services industry, or dealership
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Solid understanding of state-specific auto title regulations and procedures
  • Maintain an active notary license
  • Ability to work independently, as well as multi-task and prioritize work tasks
  • Professional communication skills to communicate with members, team members, management, and third-party vendors through various channels as needed
  • Quality and Detail oriented
  • Excellent computer skills and aptitude of quickly learning applicable systems
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Auto Title Servicing – 75%
    • Complete all aspects of vehicle title processing in accordance with state and federal regulations
    • Release titles and liens on paid off loans to members and various entities
    • Research and resolve missing forms, documents, and titles
    • Utilize collection and core software to track, document, and update the title process
    • Identify efficiencies and process improvements within your daily responsibilities
    • Support daily operational functions across all business units within Member Resolutions
    • Stay current with various state regulations regarding vehicle titling, liens, forms, and notary requirements
  • Collaboration – 20%
    • Provide excellent member service by resolving questions and concerns submitted through various channels
    • Work closely with members, internal departments, dealerships, and state agencies to resolve title issues and discrepancies
    • Collaborate with team members and Member Resolutions management to achieve department goals
  • Other duties as assigned – 5%
