a draftsman with minimum 3 years experience to work in a Consultancy engineering company based in Dubai - Hor al Anz (next to the metro station). the job will include drafting arch, structural, mep drawings for villas mostly (95% of the time).

Skills required:

1- Must how to speak English.

2-Must have at least 3 years ARCHITECTURAL Drafting experience ( Sections, elevations, schedules, etc...)

3-knowledge in CAD & sketchup.

the following are general requirements for a draftsman:

1. Technical AutoCAD Skills

• Proficient use of AutoCAD (2D drafting is mandatory; 3D is not required in CAD).
• Accurate creation and modification of drawings using layers, blocks, Xrefs, and layouts.
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, scales, units, and drawing limits.
• Effective use of dimensioning, annotation styles, and plotting/printing setups.
• Ability to manage drawing standards, templates, and title blocks.
• File management skills, including version control and coordination with multiple drawings.

2. Drafting & Engineering Knowledge

• Solid understanding of technical drawings, symbols, and conventions.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, or civil drawings.
• Awareness of design intent and how drawings are used on site.

3. Attention to Detail & Accuracy

• Consistent checking of dimensions, levels, and alignments.
• Ability to detect conflicts or inconsistencies in drawings before issue.

4. Coordination & Communication Skills

• Ability to coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, and other disciplines.
• Clear communication to clarify design changes and technical requirements.
• Ability to incorporate markups, redlines, and revisions accurately and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
