AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and designs based on project requirements. The role requires strong knowledge of drafting standards, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD (and other relevant drafting software).
• Review and interpret technical specifications, design instructions, and sketches provided by engineers or designers.
• Update and revise drawings as per design changes and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and document control.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve technical drawing issues.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other documentation.
• Support the design team in developing concepts into final drawings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in [mechanical / electrical ].
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and drafting practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASME, BS, etc.).
• Experience in preparing layouts for generators, switchgear, or industrial equipment (customize as per your industry).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
