AutoCAD Draftsman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Draftsman for Consultant Company Required.

We are looking for a Consultant Draftsman for our Consultant Company who will be responsible as a bridge between engineering and construction by translating concepts into technical blueprints and shop drawings. They ensure all plans comply with strict local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality), update designs based on engineer feedback, and coordinate with various disciplines (Architectural, Structural, and MEP).

Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Creation: Produce detailed 2D/3D layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Drawing Revisions: Update architectural, structural, or MEP shop drawings based on site conditions, clashes, and consultant comments.
• Authority Compliance: Ensure all submission drawings conform to the governing building codes and municipality regulations.
• Discipline Coordination: Resolve clashes and coordinate with Civil, Structural, and MEP teams to ensure design alignment.
• As-Built Drawings: Maintain and update technical drawings to reflect actual on-site modifications after completion.

Key Skills & Software

• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and Revit for 3D modeling and structural detailing.
• Experience: Candidates must have knowledge of at least 1-4 years in UAE.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and material specifications.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for measurements and scale.
