Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT and Selenium automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation design, scripting, and framework enhancement. Experience in desktop application automation and exposure to financial products will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using UFT and Selenium (Java/C/VBScript).
• Automate web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop and execute automation scripts for regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups in Agile methodology.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide detailed reports.
• Ensure test coverage and quality for financial applications.
• Support CI/CD integration for automation execution.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best automation practices.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with UFT (latest versions preferred).
• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with automation frameworks (Hybrid/Data-Driven/Keyword-Driven).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, VBScript, or C.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN).
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have (Added Advantage):

• Experience in Desktop application automation (UFT Desktop/Windows-based applications).
• Experience in automation of financial products (Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Trade Processing, etc.).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).
• API automation experience (Rest Assured/Postman).
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL).
