Automotive Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on passenger vehicles.
• Specialize in German, American, Japanese, and Korean vehicles.
• Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and electrical system repairs.
• Perform routine services including minor, intermediate, and major servicing.
• Use diagnostic scanners and technical tools to identify faults.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Ensure work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and proper tool usage.
• Support quality control procedures to minimize repeat repairs.
• Coordinate with service advisors for accurate job reporting and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
• Strong experience with German (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW), American (GMC, Ford, Chevrolet), Japanese (Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Honda), and Korean (Hyundai, Kia) vehicles.
• Good diagnostic skills using modern scanning tools.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and complex mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workshop safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology.
• Experience working in dealership or professional workshop environment.
• Knowledge of hybrid or EV vehicles (advantage).
