Automotive Sales Assistant – Commercial & Passenger Vehicles (Mahindra)

Job Purpose

To support the commercial vehicle sales team by handling customer enquiries, coordinating with sales executives, maintaining sales records, and providing administrative and customer service support to enhance Mahindra vehicle sales operations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

  • Receive and handle customer enquiries related to Mahindra commercial & passenger vehicles through phone calls, walk-in customers, emails, and digital platforms.
  • Record customer requirements accurately and handover qualified enquiries to Sales Executives for follow-up and closure.
  • Provide basic product information, brochures, pricing guidance (as approved), and availability details to customers.
  • Coordinate test drive requests and customer appointments with the sales team.

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively in English and Arabic with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries to ensure timely response and proper engagement by the sales executives.
  • Maintain professional communication standards aligned with company policies.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain and update customer enquiry logs, lead trackers, and sales databases using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly enquiry and follow-up reports for management review.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales-related documents as required.

Administrative Support

  • Support sales executives with documentation, filing, and coordination of sales activities.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of customer data, enquiries, and correspondence.
  • Assist in coordinating vehicle deliveries, invoicing follow-ups, and customer documentation when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive sales support, customer service, or a similar role (commercial vehicles experience preferred).
  • Experience in handling customer enquiries and supporting sales teams in Qatar is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) – mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Customer-oriented approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Mahindra commercial & passenger vehicles or similar brands.
  • Familiarity with the Qatar automotive market and customer expectations.
  • Valid Qatar driving license (added advantage, not mandatory).

Working Conditions

  • Office and showroom-based role with occasional coordination with yard and service teams.
  • Working hours as per company policy and Qatar Labor Law.
