Automotive Service Dispatcher

Job Summary
The Albany Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Audi Albany as a full-time Service Dispatcher. The automotive dispatcher is responsible for managing the shop’s flow and production. You should have basic computer skills, leadership abilities, and proven automotive service experience. This position works between the service advisors and technicians. The dispatcher will also manage used and new car service, communication, and delivery. Pay is weekly plus incentive. Total compensation can equal about $100000 to $120000 per year.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:

• Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy
• Assign work to the correct technician level
• Make sure repair orders are given out so that time estimates are met correctly
• Ensure that technicians follow warranty policies and procedures
• Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
• Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly
• Book technicians time on repair orders
• Maintain a record of carryover vehicles
• Write internal repair orders and provide estimates to sales team
• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
• Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and closed when work is completed
• Valid and insurable Driver's license

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
