Reports To: Service Manager

Position: Full time

Schedule: M-Fri/hours vary between 7 AM–5 PM

Our automotive service center is looking for Ford, Chyrsler and/or GM Automotive Technicians to join our Service team. Laura is looking for motivated, competitive, and hard-working technicians who take pride in their work and are looking for industry-leading pay coupled with HUGE opportunities for available work. RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
Conducts extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
Inspects vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety
Conducts necessary repairs and takes vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
Maintains legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Cleans and maintains the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required
Must be willing to participate in in-house training
Must be able to operate all auto repair tools
Must have knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
