AV / IT Technical Operator

A technology-based company is looking to hire an AV/IT Technical Operator who will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual systems, including projectors, LED displays, touch screens, cameras, microphones, lighting systems, and control software. The role also involves setup and management of activations on-site for the operating applications to ensure smooth integration and high-quality media delivery during events, meetings, or installations.

Job Description:

• Setup and operate different technologies, Applications and AV equipment.
• Interact with audience during the activation time and facilitate the activation operation.
• Troubleshoot any on-site issues related to application, networks or devices.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all devices.
• Maintain accurate logs of technical faults, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Assist in installing new devices and technologies.
• Guarantee the safe transportation of equipment and work involves physical setup and lifting of equipment.
• Coordinate with event planners, production teams, and developers to ensure smooth on-site setup and operations.

Job Requirements

• Graduate degree with proven experience (3+ years) in AV or IT operation and maintenance
• Strong understanding of different screens sizes and resolutions, lighting control, PC setups and maintenance, Software and applications management.
• Hands-on experience with PC management and networking (LAN/WAN, routers, IP addressing).
• Well organized and backing-up capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events as required.
