Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure data services and mandatory day-to-day coding experience in PySpark. This is an on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure data services
• Implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
• Develop and optimize big data solutions using Azure Databricks
• Perform day-to-day data processing and transformations using PySpark (mandatory)
• Work with Azure Data Lake for data storage, management, and governance
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to deliver data solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipelines
• Follow best practices in data security, governance, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Databricks
• Mandatory: Strong day-to-day coding experience in PySpark
• Experience in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Good understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-based data architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD in Azure environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
