B2B Sales Executive (Logistics )

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business leads from manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and companies requiring product transportation.
  • Pitch our logistics and FTL transport solutions to prospective customers and convert leads into sales.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements related to route, load type, frequency, and timelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by the management.
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Provide regular market feedback and competitor analysis to management.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, or networking sessions to build a customer pipeline.
  • Maintain CRM or sales records with updated information on customer contacts, activities, and conversions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand logistics and transportation workflows.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with FTL operations, vehicle types, routes, and freight rate structures is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and field work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of road transport compliance and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of freight contracts and pricing.
  • Regional language proficiency is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
