BA N2 Technician (Breathing Apparatus Technician)

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely in nitrogen / inert gas environments and confined spaces.
• Monitor oxygen levels and atmospheric conditions using gas detection equipment.
• Operate and maintain nitrogen generation, purging, and ventilation systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of related equipment.
• Follow permit-to-work, lock-out/tag-out, and isolation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and safety officers during critical operations.

Requirements

• Basic technical education preferred
• Valid Breathing Apparatus (BA) Certification required
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in industrial / plant / oil & gas environments
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and speak English
• Basic safety training certificate
• Knowledge and understanding of QHSE policies and procedures
