Job Title: Bakery Chef (With Catering Experience)

Job Summary:
The Bakery Chef is responsible for overseeing all bakery operations, including the preparation, baking, and presentation of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. This role ensures high-quality production, adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and innovation in recipes and offerings. The Bakery Chef manages bakery staff, controls inventory, and contributes to menu planning to deliver exceptional baked products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and oversee the production of a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, desserts, and specialty items.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor bakery staff to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all bakery operations.
  • Develop new recipes, seasonal offerings, and innovative baked products to meet customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients, baking supplies, and equipment, coordinating with the purchasing team for timely stock.
  • Monitor production schedules and workflows to ensure timely delivery of bakery items.
  • Control costs, minimize waste, and maintain profitability without compromising product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the bakery kitchen.
  • Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with culinary and management teams to integrate bakery offerings into overall menu and event planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Culinary or baking diploma/degree from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar senior bakery role.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Leadership and team management skills to supervise and train bakery staff.
  • Creativity and innovation in recipe development and presentation.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and quality standards in bakery operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet production deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
