About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Bakery Chef to join our culinary team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items according to standard recipes
  • Develop and suggest new bakery items and seasonal specialties
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
  • Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and request supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team for daily production requirements
  • Minimize waste and control food costs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bakery Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
