Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bakery Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, promoting bakery products, handling sales transactions, maintaining attractive product displays, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional shopping experience.

* Develop a thorough understanding of bakery products, ingredients, and daily specials.

* Promote and upsell bakery items, beverages, gift packaging, and other add-on products.

* Inform customers about seasonal promotions, special offers, and new product launches.

* Receive and process customer orders accurately, including in-store, phone, and online orders.

* Coordinate with production staff to ensure timely preparation of custom and large orders.

* Verify order details and maintain high levels of accuracy.

* Take regular Videos of Bakery items and post on social media accounts like YouTube/Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/ etc

* Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.

* Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions securely.

* Maintain accurate records of sales and daily transactions.

* Arrange and maintain attractive product displays to maximize sales.

* Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as required.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales counter, display areas, and customer zones. Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Assist with closing duties.

* Work closely with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

* Support the training and onboarding of new team members when required.

* Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and professional work environment.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Previous experience in retail, bakery, food service, or customer service is an added advantage.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

* Ability to work flexibly including weekends and holidays.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
