Barista

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Arabesq. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, Arabic beverages, and delivering a warm and welcoming experience to our guests. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service that reflects the Arabesq brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including Arabic coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty mocktails.
• Assist in the presentation and service of Arabic sweets and café items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked barista station.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of coffee machines and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Manage orders efficiently during busy hours, ensuring minimal wait time.
• Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate restocking needs.
• Support the team with other front-of-house duties when required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of Arabic coffee preparation is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and POS systems.

Job Type: Full-time
