Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and care
• Assist with basic food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the café site
• Follow strict health and safety protocols appropriate for a medical building environment
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service; engage with guests and communicate clearly about menu items
• Operate the POS system for order processing
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, counters, storage, etc
• Handle light cleaning duties, restocking, and basic lifting as part of daily operations
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy

Qualifications

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred, or strong willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills—clear, friendly, and professional
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and orders
• Understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and cleaning
