Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions
• Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Uphold health and safety regulations related to food safety, food handling, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
• Experience in food industry roles involving serving, food preparation, or retail sales is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
