Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve efficiently without compromising quality
• Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for sales and cash handling, and food preparation tasks
• Support the team in maintaining a tidy, organized café environment that adheres to food safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry, with strong knowledge of coffee and beverage crafting
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail
