Barista

Position Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages within a luxury private hospitality environment. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, professional presentation, and a commitment to delivering personalized service while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffees, specialty beverages, teas, fresh juices, and other refreshments.

• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.

• Perform latte art and specialty coffee preparation techniques where required.

• Maintain beverage preparation equipment in excellent working condition.

Guest Service

• Provide professional and courteous service to residents, guests, and visitors.

• Anticipate guest preferences and respond promptly to requests.

• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.

• Support VIP service requirements and special events as needed.

Hygiene & Quality Standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service areas.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of all beverage ingredients.

• Monitor product freshness and quality.

Inventory Management

• Assist in monitoring stock levels and replenishment of coffee beans, teas, milk products, syrups, and related supplies.

• Report inventory shortages and equipment maintenance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional Barista Certification from is a MUST.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, café, restaurant, private residence, yacht, or hospitality environment.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.

Preferred Certifications

• Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Skills Certificate.

• City & Guilds Barista Skills Certification.

• Any recognized Barista Training Program or Coffee Academy Certification.
