Barista Job Description – Overseas Applicants

We are seeking enthusiastic baristas who are passionate about coffee, guest engagement, and teamwork. As a barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages with consistency and care.
• Engage warmly with guests, ensuring friendly service and accurate order delivery—especially for takeaway orders, without spills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and café trends, while continuously learning and improving skills.
• Perform live or online coffee demonstrations when required.
• Maintain and operate coffee machines and equipment with care, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
• Respect and follow guidance from managers, reporting issues promptly and responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with team members, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Uphold standards of professionalism, respect, and hospitality at all times.

Contract length: 12 months

• The Preliminary Interview / Screening will require you to do a demonstration of 3 Coffee Types using the machines in our Outlet. Please confirm that you can do this?
• The Preliminary Interview / Screening will also include an Interview about your Coffee Knowledge, Temperature Management and general questions from farming to brewing coffee. Please confirm that you have adequate knowledge to have a conversation?

Experience:

• Barista / Coffee-Making: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:
