About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team at Noir and Rise. We focus on the "Third Wave" coffee experience, where precision and artistry are at the heart of every cup. We are looking for a candidate who is not just a coffee maker, but a coffee enthusiast dedicated to the craft of manual brewing and visual presentation.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: QAR 2,000 -QAR 2,500 (As per the professional experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Brewing Excellence: Expertly prepare filter coffee using the Hario V60 method, ensuring precise extraction, grind calibration, and temperature control.
• Espresso & Latte Art: Craft espresso-based drinks with high-quality microfoam and advanced Latte Art (Rosettas, Tulips, Hearts) to ensure a premium visual experience for our guests.
• Quality Control: Dial-in espresso and filter recipes daily, monitoring bean freshness and water quality.
• Customer Experience: Educate customers on coffee origins, roast profiles, and the nuances of specialty brewing.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized coffee bar and ensure all specialty equipment (V60 drippers, gooseneck kettles, grinders) is sanitized and calibrated.

Qualifications

• Technical Skill: Proven experience in V60 manual pouring and consistent Latte Art skills.
• Communication: Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Previous experience in a specialty/third-wave coffee shop is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of coffee-to-water ratios, extraction times, and sensory profiles.
• Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
