SUMMARY
Are you a people person with a passion for fitness and sales? Join the barre3 Happy Valley family as a Sales Associate! In this role, you’ll be the first smile clients see, creating a welcoming vibe that everyone wants to come back to. You’ll combine your love for fitness and community with your sales savvy to help clients find their perfect membership fit.

Hours required: Must be able to work Monday 5:40-7:30am, Friday 4:30-8:15pm and every other Saturday 6:45-1:30pm weekly plus subbing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build lasting relationships with clients, making sure they leave with a smile and a plan to return.
• Drive in-studio membership, class package and retail sales by understanding clients needs and how barre3 can best fit into their lives and routines.
• Be the go-to guru for all things barre3— able to speak to what barre3 is, class details, membership options, and in-studio retail products.
• Greet clients with a friendly hello as they step into the studio.
• Show off the studio with engaging tours that highlight our awesome offerings.
• Keep the front desk and retail area looking pristine and inviting.
• Help clients check in, sign up for classes, and navigate their schedules with ease.
• Get in on the action with studio events and promotions, boosting sales and client engagement.
• Respond to client inquiries quickly and cheerfully and with professionalism, whether in person, on the phone, or via text or email.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales or customer service—bonus points if it’s in the fitness or wellness industry.
• Stellar interpersonal and communication skills.
• A can-do attitude with a genuine desire to build relationships with clients.
• The ability to juggle competing tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy with a knack for learning new systems and point-of-sale software.
• Comfortable communicating by email and text, host basic zoom meetings, compose documents, enter database information, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
• Flexibility to sub shifts outside of your hired schedule - people get sick and we need support!
• Retain clients with methods shared by manager/owner
• CPR required (barre3 Happy Valley will provide a $60 reimbursement toward certification if needed)
