Foster has been named a top 50 Restaurant in Long Island 2 years in a row by Newday. We located on the North Shore Long Island's Gold Coast. We've also won Bethpage/FourLeaf's Best Restaurant, Best Upscale Restaurant, Best Wait Staff, Best Chef in Long Island and we pride ourselves as providing the best food, service and ambiance.

Our menu is highly seasonal and ever changing. It's eclectic American with influences of Japanese, mediterranean and Italian flavors. Our bar program is comprised of an exciting seasonal cocktail menu, an extensive wine list, sake selection and a large assortment of craft beers.

```Duties```:

- Ensure high quality service

- Work amongst a team of highly passionate individuals committed to providing the best dining experience to all our guests.

-Available every Friday and Saturday night and some weekend days as well for brunch or private parties.

-Flexible schedule is a plus to help fill in when others are on vacation

-Upsell

- Develop relationship with regular guests

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, service stations

```Skills```:

- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide excellent customer service

-experience creating unique cocktails (mixology)

- speed in making many specialty cocktails during dinner rush

- Sales skills a plus! Help upsell and book private events and parties

- Strong problem solving skills

- Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed

This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Our servers should have strong communication skills and the desire to work as part of a team. We never say "that's not my job" or "that's not my table". Previous experience in a similar role is required.
