Position Concept: Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests in the car areas of the club. This position will report directly to Food and Beverage Manager. (Reports to Banquet Manager during Banquets and special events)

Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to

Greet and acknowledge members and guests.

Is knowledgeable about the menu, buffet and wine list.

Learns members’ names and their special preferences.

Adhere to club policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Traits

Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work
-
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
-
Makes sure that children are in the appropriate type of seat and are safe and secure.

Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions.
-
Fills glasses with ice water and suggests menu items.
-
Prepare for opening according to Company procedures including inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.

Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.

Collect checks/payment for drinks served.
-
Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
-
Maintain and cleans bar equipment.
-
Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.

Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.

Clean and lock-up according to Company procedures

Perform other duties as directed.

Presents the bill.

Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.

Clears, cleans and resets tables that have been vacated.

Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.

Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.

Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager

Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.

Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
Experience / Qualifications: Including, but not limited to, the following:

Grade 12 education.
-
Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.

The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
Licenses and Special Requirements:

Of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.

Ohio Alcohol Seller-Server Training & Certification preferred
