Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires experience in fine dining or nightclub settings, as well as proficiency with various Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha and Micros. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Check identification to ensure customers meet legal age requirements.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for bar patrons, including catering for special events or banquets.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Stay updated on beverage trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist in training new staff members on bar operations, POS systems, and customer service standards.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
