Bartender

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a professional, energetic, personable, and dependable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who loves creating a great guest experience, can mix a mean cocktail, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, engaging and professional manner
• Prepare and serve drinks accurately and efficiently in accordance with established recipes for the bar's guests and the restaurant's guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and uphold responsible service practices
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
• Assist with restocking and bar cleaning duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 2 years of previous bartending experience in a high volume bar
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of food safety practices and certifications in food handling are desirable
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
• Ability to promote PJ Skidoos and self on social media and in local community
