Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
• Restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, efficiently managing inventory levels.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform basic math calculations for billing, and process payments swiftly.
• Assist with catering or banquet events by serving beverages in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Follow all food safety guidelines related to food handling and beverage preparation to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments with strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or speed.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes.
• Strong communication skills to engage guests effectively and promote sales opportunities.
• Experience with brewing or beverage crafting techniques is a plus for enhancing drink offerings.
• Basic math skills for managing cash register operations confidently.
