Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly, ensuring safe serving practices at all times
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering and retail math calculations for accurate change
• Restock bar supplies regularly, track inventory levels, and communicate needs to management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order management
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience with brewing or beverage crafting is a plus for creating signature drinks or specialty cocktails
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing in fast-paced environments
