Bartender and Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant nightlife setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the bar's reputation for quality service and innovative cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage cash handling processes, including operating the cash register and processing payments accurately.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, taking orders, recommending drinks, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and drink measurements.
• Knowledge of nightclub environments is a plus; ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits.
