Bartender (Part-time)

Charley's Restaurant inside the Courtyard by Marriott in Tukwila is looking for a part time bartender. Probably be 2 days most weeks with possibility for more hours.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Our bar is open daily from 5pm-9 or 10pm.

We are looking for a punctual individual with a great attitude, and infectious personality. This can be a shift where you may be by yourself some nights with minimal help, so someone who works well alone, and can handle a lot of tables would be a good fit. We have a barista machine in our bar that is technically open 24/7, so some experience there would also be a plus.

Job Duties:

• Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly, positive and timely manner.
• Makes cocktails for guests.
• Provides the highest quality service and establishes appropriate rapport with all guests.
• Adheres to all health regulations and local liquor laws.
• Follows all CSM cash handling/POS procedures.
• Completes all required side work including but not limited to: cleaning bar, coffee station, trays and coolers; vacuuming, moping, trash removal, and stocking of supplies.
• Follows CSM procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions.
• Responsible for proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
• Dispenses/delivers food and beverages and maintains a clean and safe work area in accordance with CSM, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adheres to CSM attendance policy, grooming/appearance standards, general work rules and department procedures.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications
- Possess core skills such as customer service, bartending, serving, and food safety.
- Demonstrate premium skills including Micros POS, time management, and sales.
- Have relevant skills in banquet experience, food service, basic math, catering, cash register operation, food handling, restaurant and retail math, and experience in the food industry.
