BDC Agent / Internet Sales Representative

Position Overview

As a BDC Agent, you are the first voice a potential customer hears from Republic HD. Your mission is simple: respond fast, build rapport, and get butts on bikes in our showroom. You’ll work inbound and outbound across phone, email, and text — turning internet curiosity into booked, confirmed, and showed appointments. This is a hybrid position with a mix of remote and on-site days.

What You’ll Actually Do (Every Day)

  • Make 80–120+ outbound calls per day to new internet leads, follow-ups, no-shows, unsold ups, and reactivation lists — the phone is the job
  • Hit aggressive lead-response targets: every new lead contacted by phone within minutes, not hours
  • Follow up relentlessly — most appointments are booked on call 4, 5, or 6, not call 1. We don’t give up after a voicemail
  • Book, confirm, and re-confirm showroom appointments for the sales team — and chase no-shows until they reschedule
  • Re-engage cold leads, lost deals, and dormant customers through outbound call and text campaigns
  • Send personalized email and SMS follow-ups that actually get opened and replied to
  • Log every call, text, and email in CDK eLead with clean, accurate notes
  • Coordinate live with the sales floor on appointment hand-offs and outcomes
  • Stay sharp on current inventory, promotions, finance offers, and dealership events so you can speak with authority

Who We’re Looking For

You must be FEARLESS on the phone. This role lives and dies by outbound calls and persistent follow-up. If cold-calling and chasing customers drains you, this isn’t the job. If it lights you up, you’ll crush it here.

  • Motivated, competitive, and goal-driven — you want to hit a number and beat it
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every single day, with energy on call 100 the same as call 1
  • Persistent follow-up mentality — “no” means “not yet,” and silence means try again
  • Strong verbal and written communication — you sound warm, confident, and human on the phone, and your texts and emails are clean
  • Self-motivated and disciplined — you stay productive and accountable on remote days without anyone watching
  • Highly organized; can juggle dozens of active leads in the pipeline at once
  • CRM experience preferred (CDK eLead a major plus)
  • Prior BDC, call center, inside sales, or automotive/powersports experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for Harley-Davidson or the motorcycle lifestyle is a big plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; flexible schedule including Saturdays

Work Schedule & Location

Hybrid — a mix of work-from-home days and on-site days at our Stafford dealership (12707 Southwest Freeway, Stafford, TX 77477). Remote days require a reliable internet connection, a quiet professional workspace, and the discipline to stay on the phones.
