BDE (Business Development Executive)

India

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, bid, and close potential leads through platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and other online portals
  • Draft compelling proposals, cover letters, and project quotes tailored to client needs
  • Coordinate with the technical team to understand project feasibility, timelines, and scope before bidding
  • Manage and maintain profiles on bidding platforms to ensure professionalism and responsiveness
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients to drive recurring business
  • Track bid status, follow up with prospects, and ensure a high conversion rate
  • Conduct market research to explore new opportunities and trends in the IT service industry

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2–3 years of experience in online bidding and business development in an IT services company
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA)
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile development services, digital solutions, or IT products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create engaging proposals and articulate value to clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle client calls, demos, and negotiations
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented approach

PREFERRED SKILLS (Nice to have)

  • Familiarity with CRM tools
  • Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, or SaaS products
  • Prior experience in handling international clients
