Location: Pune (must be based in Pune / able to attend in-person meetings)

Digivik Business Solutions is a performance-driven digital marketing agency delivering lead generation, paid campaigns, social media, content and end-to-end DM solutions to clients across industries. We’re expanding our Pune sales team and looking for energetic BDEs who can generate and close business.

Role overview

As a Business Development Executive (Sales) you will proactively source leads, pitch Digivik’s DM services, negotiate commercially and convert prospects into clients. This is a field-forward role — you’ll perform outreach (calls, emails, social), meet clients in person, and own the sales cycle from discovery to handover.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads via cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn/Instagram, walk-ins and local networking.
  • Conduct discovery calls/meetings to understand client needs and recommend relevant digital marketing solutions (SEO, PPC, social, content, lead-gen).
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing/terms and close deals to meet monthly targets.
  • Schedule and conduct client demos/meetings; perform effective follow-ups to progress the pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and update pipeline, activities and forecasts on time.
  • Coordinate with delivery/operations to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign kickoff.
  • Represent Digivik at local events, meetups and client sites to build relationships and brand presence.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly conversion and revenue targets; provide regular sales reports.

Required skills & attributes

  • Based in Pune and comfortable with in-person client meetings and field visits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong persuasion, convincing and negotiation skills — able to speak confidently with decision-makers.
  • Target-driven, proactive, disciplined with strong follow-up habits.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand and explain digital marketing services.
  • Basic computer skills: email, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, CRM tools.
  • Presentable, punctual and professional in client interactions.

Nice-to-have

  • Internship or 0–2 years experience in sales / BDE / inside sales (agency experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and basic CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive).
  • Knowledge of Pune’s local business landscape and networks.
