Beauty Industry Customer Relations & Communications Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Relations & Communications Specialist to be the first point of contact for our customers and salon partners. This person will handle customer inquiries via email, phone, text, and social media, while ensuring every interaction reflects our brand values. You’ll play a vital role in supporting both day-to-day customer needs and strengthening long-term client relationships.

KOVIHAIR.com is a fast-growing beauty brand specializing in high-quality hair extensions. We work with salons, stylists, and beauty professionals across the country. Our business is fun, fast-paced, and creative, and we’re looking for someone who is equally passionate about beauty and customer service to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via:
  • Email
  • Phone calls & text messages
  • Social media DMs, comments, and mentions
  • Provide product information, recommendations, and guidance to salons, stylists, and beauty professionals.
  • Monitor social media for customer interactions, feedback, and suggestions.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented tone in all customer communications.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and order details.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve customer satisfaction and streamline communication processes.
  • Process and assist with customer orders placed over the phone or by text.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Communications, marketing, advertising, etc or at least 5 years experience in a similar field.
  • Previous experience in customer service, client relations, or communications (beauty industry experience a plus!).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a warm, approachable personality.
  • Comfortable handling multiple communication channels at once (phone, text, email, social media).
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (CRM or order management tools).
  • Passion for the beauty industry and genuine interest in helping customers look and feel their best.

Job Type

This role is perfect for someone who loves both customer service and the beauty industry—you’ll be the friendly voice and personality of Kovi Hair, helping clients have an amazing experience from the very first contact.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer Relations/Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
