Benefits Analyst – Program Support

Reporting to the Manager, Benefits, the Benefits Analyst – Program Support is responsible for supporting and guiding the day-to-day administration, communication, and delivery of United Parks’ voluntary employee benefit programs and other benefits programs and support services as assigned. This individual will provide back-up point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring programs are cost-effective, and aligned with company culture and values.

Core Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for voluntary benefits vendor, Corestream.

  • Manage and foster vendor relationship with all other supplemental benefit programs offered at United Parks, including but not limited to: Tuition Reimbursement, Retiree Ticket Program, Perks at Work.

  • Manage SEA Port and Corporate Communication(s) regarding updates to benefit posts and any monthly vendor offerings including but not limited to EAP and 401(k) monthly webinars.

  • Communication lead responsible for promoting program throughout the year, with specific emphasis on annual open enrollment and off-cycle enrollment for applicable benefits.

  • Ownership/responsibility for ambassador service aspects of Corestream, Tuition.io, Perks at Work and other assigned vendor relationships.

  • Maintain metrics/reporting of incoming calls and emails for evaluation of issues, and identification of opportunities for improvement in communication, voluntary offerings, and processes.

  • Serve as point of contact for Benefits Team for escalated issues, consulting with Manager, Benefits when appropriate.

  • Responsible for audits and reporting of voluntary benefit offerings, enrollments, deductions.

  • Help lead benefits communication throughout the year to enhance understanding and utilization of the Corestream platform and available voluntary benefits offered under the platform.

  • Responsible for coordination and execution of enrollment assistance to ambassadors during Open Enrollment, QLEs, and enrollment of New Hires.

  • Manage integration file(s) and troubleshoot/resolve any issues – working with third party Workday vendor, IT and payroll to ensure accurate enrollment and payroll processing for ambassadors.

  • Establish SOPs for processes and protocols associated with Benefits Analyst role, ensuring other team members can assist in the Benefits Analyst’s absence.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits administration

  • Working knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance (ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)

  • Experience working with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar systems)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
